Here we can clearly see that the Bronx has the highest poverty rate at 30% which is very significant. This is followed by Brooklyn. Staten Island has the lowest poverty level.
Crime and Unemployment
We can see that over time, the unemployment rate is consistently highest in the Bronx. Suprisingly, Manhattan tends to have the highest serious crime rate. We can see that unemployment is high in 2010, likely due to the 2008 crisis.
Education Level
The Bronx has the highest portion of people without a high school diploma at age 25 and the lowest population age 25+ with a bachelor's degree. Staten Island has the highest population portion by far with a bachelor's or higher of people who are 25+.
